Job Title: Sales Representative Hospitality (FMCG)

Job Purpose:
To drive sales growth within the hospitality sector by promoting and selling a range of high-quality food products to hotels, restaurants, and catering businesses. The Sales Representative will develop and maintain strong client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition and Management:
- Identify and target potential clients within the hospitality industry, including hotels, restaurants, and catering services.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
- Conduct regular client visits to understand their needs and present suitable product solutions.
- Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics as set by the Sales Manager.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize product penetration in the market.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Market Analysis and Reporting:
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management, detailing sales activities, pipeline status, and market insights.
- Product Knowledge and Promotion:
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's product offerings and their applications within the hospitality sector.
- Coordinate and participate in promotional activities, trade shows, and events to enhance product visibility and generate leads.
- Customer Service:
- Ensure timely and effective resolution of customer inquiries and issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and delivery.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of sales experience in the FMCG sector, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field (advantageous).
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of the hospitality sector and its procurement processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
Additional Requirements:
- Must reside in the Cape Town area.
- Presentable and professional appearance (ages 25 to 35 preferred).
- Small basic salary with a large commission structure.

- Achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Number of new clients acquired.
- Client retention rates.
- Customer satisfaction levels.
- Accuracy and timeliness of sales reports and forecasts.
Working Conditions:
- This position requires regular travel to client locations within the Cape Town area and may involve attending events outside of standard business hours.
