An established engineering and fabrication company based in Krugersdorp is seeking a motivated and technically minded Internal Sales Representative to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with a background in structural steel or piping who can interpret technical drawings and provide accurate cost estimations to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling incoming client inquiries and preparing accurate quotations based on technical drawings or item descriptions
• Liaising with the workshop and production team to gather the correct specifications and ensure pricing aligns with production capabilities
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients through effective communication and technical support
• Interpreting structural steel and pipework drawings to provide reliable costing and turnaround times
• Supporting the sales and operations team with general administrative and coordination tasks

Minimum Requirements:

• Proven ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings (structural steel and/or piping)
• Previous experience in internal sales, estimating, or quoting within a fabrication or engineering environment
• Basic understanding of costing principles
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in calculations
• Computer literate with good communication skills
• A proactive, service-driven attitude

Advantageous:

• Experience in a steel fabrication or engineering manufacturing environment
• Exposure to plasma cutting, rolling, grating, or related services will be beneficial
