Technical Sales Executive (Software Solutions Civil Engineering)

A leading provider of civil infrastructure design software is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Technical Sales Executive to join their team in Tokai, Cape Town. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge solutions in the civil engineering sector, engaging with industry professionals and driving business growth through strategic sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead high-level sales engagements, building and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the new business development cycle.
  • Utilize a value-based consultative sales approach to identify customer needs and demonstrate how the company's software solutions provide measurable value.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and client presentations to closing deals.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales reports.
  • Work independently, demonstrating a self-motivated and results-oriented mindset.
  • Thrive in high-pressure environments, meeting deadlines while delivering high-quality work with strong attention to detail.
  • Exhibit exceptional communication skills both written and verbal in English.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: A National Diploma or higher in Civil Engineering is advantageous.
  • Experience:
    • 8-10 years of experience in technical software sales.
    • Previous exposure to civil infrastructure software sales is highly beneficial.
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and web-based CRM tools.

Requirements

  • Valid Code 8 drivers license and own transport.
  • Willingness to travel
