Overview:
An exciting opportunity is available for a Technical Sales & Application Engineer to join a leading player in the filtration and separation solutions space. Focused on the Food & Beverage industry, this role is primarily sales-oriented, requiring both technical insight and commercial drive. The successful candidate will support key accounts while actively identifying and converting new business opportunities in hygiene-sensitive environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell high-performance filtration and separation solutions to manufacturers in the Food & Beverage sector.
- Develop and grow client relationships, maintaining regular engagement to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within both existing and prospective accounts.
- Conduct onsite product demonstrations, technical trials, and optimization support to showcase value and performance.
- Deliver targeted technical presentations that address specific client challenges and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal support teams to prepare tailored proposals and solution strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, service activities, and sales progress.
Requirements
- BSc or NDip in Food Science, Biotechnology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 12 years of experience in the Food & Beverage industry, technical sales, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
- Familiar with food industry compliance standards such as FSSC, ISO, or HACCP.
- Confident communicator with a strong commercial mindset and a passion for solving client problems.
- Must have a valid drivers license and own reliable transport (client site travel required).
