Job Description: Designer & Retoucher (Graphic Designer)
Reports to: Head of Design
Department/Team: Design
Salary (Range): R15 000 R24 000

Purpose of the role:

A successful candidate will have great initiative, problem solving skills and attention to detail. They will be a hard worker and willing to learn new skills, whilst being able to work under pressure producing a high quality of design. The role will report into the Head of Design.

Main responsibilities & duties:
Daily digital artwork design for Goods deals

Regular detailed work to improve live deals through a variety of design methods, including but not limited to, web research, brand promotion and AI

Regular deal imagery for the Services team

Image retouching, of photographs taken in house

Design for other areas of the company, including but not limited to; the Marketing department & website
Occasionally, taking part in designing for larger projects that span multiple departments

Technical skills required:
Graphic Design degree, or related preferable, but not essential

Knowledge of Adobe Suite specifically Photoshop & Illustrator

InDesign, After Effects & Figma beneficial but not essential

Experience in image retouching

Soft skills required:
Good written & verbal communication skills

Have self-awareness and be a team player, with the ability to work autonomously

Good work ethic with a positive attitude

Adaptable to change and takes feedback well
