Sales Engineer

Sales Engineer 

Johannesburg | R750K to R800k CTC per annum. 

Introduction 

You'll be responsible for managing client relationships, designing technical solutions, preparing quotations, and overseeing the successful execution of projects from concept to completion.

Duties & Responsibilities 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and convert customer leads assigned to you.
• Conduct on-site evaluations, develop engineering designs, and prepare detailed project quotations.
• Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure expectations and deliverables are aligned.
• Maintain strong communication with stakeholders via email, meetings, and phone.
• Attend weekly project meetings and conduct post-project reviews.

• Oversee on-site activities, including:
• Technology selection
• Quality assurance
• Adherence to timelines
• Supervise contractors and internal technical staff during installations.
• Ensure safety compliance and adherence to company and regulatory standards.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Desirable Education: 
• BSc Mechanical Engineering
• Training: Project Management courses 
• AutoCAD training and design capability 
• HVAC (Sairac) certification
• Experience: Industrial/process factory projects and HVAC turnkey solutions
• Languages: Afrikaans proficiency (advantageous)
