Role Overview
A busy frozen seafood import/export business is seeking a highly organised Procurement & Export Administrator. Youll manage export shipments and documentation, support procurement admin, and coordinate with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to ensure goods move smoothly and compliantly.
Key Duties
- Prepare export docs: invoices, packing lists, B/L, certificates (EUR1, DAFF, NRCS, health, TRACES).
- Ensure compliance with export regulations and deadlines.
- Administer purchase orders, import/export files, permits, and stock-related paperwork.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, clearing agents, shipping lines, cold store, and production.
- Track shipments, update stakeholders, and resolve export issues quickly.
Requirements
- Matric essential; logistics/procurement qualification advantageous.
- 13 years in export/procurement/logistics admin.
- Solid knowledge of export processes, customs docs & INCOTERMS.
- Strong MS Office skills (Excel important); ERP/SAP Business One beneficial.
- Detail-focused, deadline-driven, and able to work under pressure.
