XRT Recovery Specialist Angola

Take your technical expertise to the next level in one of Africas most dynamic mining projects. We are seeking an experienced XRT Recovery Specialist to join a world-class operation in Luaxe, Angola. This role offers the chance to work with advanced XRT, BV, and Flowsort technologies, ensuring plant recovery performance and operational excellence.

What you can expect:

• Fixed-term 12-month renewable contract
• 8 weeks on-site, 2 weeks off rotation
• Competitive salary: R55,000 R65,000 per month
• Full expatriate package: travel, accommodation, meals, laundry, and medical facilities provided at no cost

What you will do:

• Maintain, repair, and optimise sorter-related equipment (XRT, BV, Flowsort)
• Conduct inspections, planned maintenance, and technical fault-finding
• Manage spares inventory and develop critical spares registers
• Lead XRT tracer tests and produce technical reports
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards

Requirements:

• N2 with Trade Certificate (minimum)
• 5+ years experience in sorter-related technology (8+ years preferred)
• Knowledge of diamond plants, DMS, and recovery circuits
• Strong technical problem-solving and leadership abilities
• Clear criminal record and ability to work on international rotation
