The Role: Mechanical Assembler
This role exists to assemble, integrate, and prepare mechanical systems for automated machinery and industrial equipment. You will work directly from technical drawings to build high-quality assemblies, support machine testing, and ensure each project meets strict engineering and workmanship standards. Your work contributes directly to delivering reliable, high-performing automated solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Bring 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience to build and integrate mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and full systems

  • Interpret and work from mechanical design drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions

  • Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to perform precision mechanical assembly

  • Inspect assembled components for accuracy, fit, and alignment

  • Assist with machine run-up, testing, fault-checking, and adjustments

  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and production teams during project execution

  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment while adhering to safety standards

  • Report issues, defects, or risks promptly to maintain high-quality output

  • (Nice to have) Support assembly in automated manufacturing or industrial machinery environments

About You

  • 2+ years of experience as a Mechanical Assembler, ideally within automated machinery or conveyor systems

  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and industrial assembly techniques

  • Confident in interpreting technical drawings and mechanical schematics

  • Proficient with hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and assembly equipment

  • Accurate, detail-oriented, and strong at mechanical problem-solving

  • Good communication skills and a collaborative working style

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with production deadlines

  • Familiarity with automated manufacturing or industrial equipment is beneficial

  • Relevant technical or mechanical certification is an advantage

  • Trade Test Fitter, Machinist, or Millwright qualification is advantageous
