The Role: Product Development Technologist
As a Product Development Technologist, you will play a key role in the creation, modification, and application of food flavourings and seasonings. Working closely with the technical team, you'll develop new concepts, enhance existing formulations, and ensure customer briefs are met with precision and creativity. This is a hands-on development role where sensory skills and technical accuracy are equally important.

Key Responsibilities

  • 2 to 5 years of product development experience in flavours and seasonings

  • Formulate new flavours aligned with customer requirements and market trends

  • Modify and enhance existing flavour formulations for improved performance

  • Develop application recipes tailored to client products

  • Compound and prepare flavour samples for testing and client presentations

  • Conduct sensory panels to evaluate flavour performance and quality

  • Source and assess new raw materials and ingredients

  • Compile product specifications, technical documentation, and process methods

About You

  • Diploma or Degree in Food Technology or Food Science

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in product development within flavours/seasonings

  • Strong sensory and olfactory abilities with attention to detail

  • Knowledge of flavour development processes and regulatory requirements

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Word)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proven ability to deliver on customer briefs with accuracy and creativity

  • Deadline-driven, proactive, and highly organised
