The Role: Procurement & Sourcing Specialist
You'll be responsible for coordinating all procurement and sourcing functions to ensure materials are acquired at optimal cost, quality, and lead times. This includes developing supplier relationships, negotiating global contracts, and driving sourcing initiatives that directly impact profitability and efficiency. The role plays a key part in shaping procurement strategy and supporting the broader business objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Source and evaluate new suppliers locally and internationally to ensure competitive pricing and quality.

Lead supplier negotiations and identify opportunities for improved products and cost savings.

Manage relationships with the international sourcing office in Shanghai.

Conduct supplier visits and performance reviews to ensure compliance and reliability.

Support management in achieving target GP margins through strategic sourcing.

Maintain and update product price lists and supplier records.

Communicate regularly with internal teams on new, discontinued, or updated products.

Oversee procurement reporting and analytics.

Act as team lead in the absence of the Procurement Manager.
About You

5 to 8 years of experience in procurement or buying, preferably within manufacturing or electrical industries.

Tertiary qualification in Buying, Supply Chain, or a related field.

Proven experience negotiating with global suppliers and managing cross-cultural relationships.

Strong knowledge of contract law, procurement compliance, and supplier governance.

Proficient in ERP systems with advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.

Supervisory or team leadership experience is advantageous.

Skilled in negotiation, relationship management, and performing under pressure.
