ECP Group Sales Specialist
Location: Claremont, Cape Town, South Africa
Employment: Type: Full-Time

Salary: R13 000 – R16 000  + uncapped commission

About the role
They're searching for an energetic Corporate Employee Benefits Specialist with solid sales background in long- or short-term insurance.

As an experienced salesperson, you'll be driving sales, building connections, and helping our clients get the coverage they need. You'll be at the forefront of our mission to provide innovative employee insurance solutions. Being proficient in English and Afrikaans is a must.

What you'll be doing
Your primary focus will be to drive sales of our Staff Cover product. Your duties will include:

Developing and executing effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the client base
Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities via your own networks and online platforms
Marketing company products to both your own leads and those generated by our marketing team 
Selling the Employee Staff Cover product via our broker portal – providing follow up and support as required.
Building and maintaining lasting relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction, retention, and referrals 
Meeting with prospects as requested, in person and other channels such as Teams and Zoom etc.
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction to improve the customer value proposition 
Staying adaptable as responsibilities evolve with the company's growth

Experience and Qualifications
Matric certificate
​RE5
Undergraduate degree/diploma is advantageous
Minimum 1-year long/short-term insurance sales experience
Proven track record in meeting sales targets
Business-to-business selling experience is essential
Good fluency in English and Afrikaans 

Sales and Tech Skills
Proficient in CRM systems, MS Office Suite, and LinkedIn for networking and sales
Skilled in sourcing leads independently and leveraging various channels to build a robust pipeline

Fluency in English
1 Year recent insurance sales experience 
B2B sales experience
Tech-savvy
Based in Cape Town
