The Role: Paralegal – Property Conveyancing
This part-time position plays a vital role in progressing UK residential conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion. The successful candidate will manage documentation, liaise with relevant parties, and ensure compliance with UK legal procedures — all while working remotely within UK business hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Minimum 2 years of experience in UK residential conveyancing
- Open and manage conveyancing files from instruction through to completion
- Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and reports
- Conduct property searches and liaise with relevant providers
- Prepare completion statements and assist with exchanges and completions
- Communicate with clients, estate agents, lenders, and solicitors
- Maintain accurate case records using conveyancing systems
- Ensure compliance with UK procedures, deadlines, and client service standards
About You
- Proven experience handling UK property conveyancing matters
- Background as a Paralegal or Conveyancing Assistant
- Excellent knowledge of the UK residential conveyancing process
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to manage workload remotely
- Advantageous:
- Experience with UK-based law firms or conveyancing practices
- Familiarity with case management tools like Leap, Proclaim, or Visualfiles
- Previous direct liaison with UK clients and third parties
