The Role: Paralegal – Property Conveyancing

This part-time position plays a vital role in progressing UK residential conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion. The successful candidate will manage documentation, liaise with relevant parties, and ensure compliance with UK legal procedures — all while working remotely within UK business hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in UK residential conveyancing
  • Open and manage conveyancing files from instruction through to completion
  • Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and reports
  • Conduct property searches and liaise with relevant providers
  • Prepare completion statements and assist with exchanges and completions
  • Communicate with clients, estate agents, lenders, and solicitors
  • Maintain accurate case records using conveyancing systems
  • Ensure compliance with UK procedures, deadlines, and client service standards

About You

  • Proven experience handling UK property conveyancing matters
  • Background as a Paralegal or Conveyancing Assistant
  • Excellent knowledge of the UK residential conveyancing process
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and able to manage workload remotely
  • Advantageous:
  • Experience with UK-based law firms or conveyancing practices
  • Familiarity with case management tools like Leap, Proclaim, or Visualfiles
  • Previous direct liaison with UK clients and third parties
