Senior Clinical Embryologist, New IVF Lab — Los Angeles Area, California

We are seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Embryologist to join a brand-new IVF laboratory within a privately physician-owned fertility clinic. This is the second lab to open within a group of three, physician owned IVF clinic in the LA area. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the laboratory’s founding team and contribute to the development of its procedures, quality standards, workflows, and culture from the outset.

The successful candidate will perform the full range of clinical embryology procedures, including oocyte assessment, ICSI, embryo culture, embryo biopsy, vitrification and warming, cryostorage management, and quality assurance activities. You will work closely with the physician, nursing team, and other laboratory professionals to establish a highly efficient service focused on excellent clinical outcomes and patient care.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant biological or life science
• Extensive hands-on experience within a clinical IVF laboratory
• Strong competency across the full range of embryology procedures
• Experience in embryo biopsy and cryopreservation
• Eligibility for, or current certification through, the American Board of Bioanalysis (ABB), such as the Embryology Laboratory Scientist (ELS) accreditation
• Strong understanding of quality systems, laboratory standards, and regulatory requirements
• Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills
