Embryologist Maternity Cover (1.5 Years)

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced embryologist in a State of the ART, ISO accredited, IVF clinic in the beautiful city of Tallinn, Estonia.  Minimum 1.5 years maternity cover, ideally starting August/Sept 2026, with the possibility of a longer term, permanent role.       

The clinic carries out approximately 300-350 egg collections per year with a team of 2 other full time embryologists and a lab assistant.  Softwares used are VRepro, linked with CHLOE, plus RI Witness and TimeLapse incubators.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine IVF laboratory procedures (incl OPU, IVF, ICS, PICSI, FET, vitrification, thawing, andrology lab responsibilities)
• Ensure full compliance with ISO 15189:2022 and quality management systems
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all laboratory activities
• Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment and environmental conditions
• Participate in quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) activities
• Collaborate closely with clinicians and the wider multidisciplinary team

Requirements

• Degree in biology, embryology, biomedical science, or a related field
• Previous experience in an IVF laboratory essential 
• Fully trained in IVF, including ICSI and PGT biopsy
• Strong understanding of laboratory quality standards and traceability principles
• High level of attention to detail and responsibility
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills in Estonian and/or English
