                                       Avionics Systems Team Leader (ASTL) 

Job Highlights:

The ASTL oversees a crew of avionics and electrical systems technicians responsible for the inspection, servicing, and repair of the avionics and electrical systems of the AHFS helicopters. This role ensures that these maintenance activities meet military aviation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a team of avionics and electrical systems technicians responsible for identifying and repairing avionics and electrical systems on the AHFS helicopters.
  2. Lead and supervise daily avionics and electrical systems maintenance on the AHFS helicopters, including scheduled inspections, unscheduled repairs, and component replacements.
  3. Assign tasks and monitor work quality, safety compliance, and technical accuracy.
  4. Train and mentor, the AHFS avionics and electrical technicians in aircraft systems, troubleshooting procedures, and safety protocols.
  5. Enforce safety standards, operational discipline, and maintenance practices for the avionics and electrical team personnel.

Threshold Conditions:

  • Technical training in military helicopter maintenance.
  • Proven experience in rotary-wing aircraft maintenance.
  • Leadership experience in a maintenance or aviation support role.
  • Familiarity with military maintenance documentation and aviation safety protocols.
  • Eligibility for security clearance to access restricted areas and classified data.
  • Knowledge of helicopter systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
  • Ability to work under pressure in mission-critical environments.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to safety, precision, and operational excellence.
  • English proficiency level C1
