About the Role
As a Quantum Software Architect, you will take the lead in shaping the structure and development of our quantum software stack. You will drive compiler architecture, performance optimization, and HW/SW co-design to ensure scalability and efficiency across front-end and back-end compilers. This is a strategic role for an experienced professional who wants to actively define what quantum computing looks like in practice.
Your Responsibilities

Lead hardware software co-design to optimize quantum computer architecture for real-world use cases.

Perform performance analysis and optimization of quantum algorithms across different architectures.

Define and select compute benchmarks to guide the development of our quantum computer architecture.

Contribute to maintaining and shaping the technology roadmap, including requirements engineering.

Design and specify compiler front-end (quantum languages), back-end (machine-specific), and optimization strategies in collaboration with the quantum software team.

Ensure clean, testable, and scalable software implementations together with the development team.
Your Profile

Masters degree in Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering.

3+ years of industry or post-graduate R&D experience in quantum computing-related topics.

3+ years of experience with programming languages such as Python, Rust, or C++.

Proven hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq).

Strong understanding of quantum computing paradigms, architectures, and hardware realizations.

Expertise in quantum algorithms, compilers, and circuit design.

Familiarity with quantum error correction methods.

Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
