Our client, a joint venture between two industry leaders in textile and lighting systems, is looking for a Production Plant Financial Controller for Kosovo.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee equipment procurement, workforce planning, and overall plant setup from pre-series to production start and stabilization.
- Calculate machine hourly rates and product costs to support sales price negotiations and profitability analysis.
- Conduct process cost comparisons to evaluate and recommend alternative production technologies.
- Work closely with materials management to ensure inventory security and implement continuous improvements.
- Analyze and report monthly performance data (Plan / Forecast / Actual), including commentary and presentations for parent companies.
- Coordinate and support physical inventory processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Lead the rollout and continuous improvement of the ERP system, including design, testing, and user training.
- Design and configure- ERP modules (Finance, Fixed Assets, Procurement, Sales, Production), including master data setup and workflow definition.
- Support ERP testing and go-live, train end users, and prepare clear process documentation.
- Prepare financial statements in line with HGB and IFRS
- Support controlling activities at the headquarters, and collaborate closely with the accounting team for closing tasks.
Requirements:
- Strong grasp of budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and financial reporting (HGB & IFRS standards).
- Ability to interpret complex financial and operational data to drive insights and improvements.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in controlling.
- Preferred Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or similar.
- Understanding of production processes, equipment procurement, and workforce planning.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for internal reporting and parent company interaction.
- Experience with ERP implementation and configuration
- Structured and responsible way of working as well as resilience, diligence, independence, and reliability.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with inventory control processes and materials management collaboration.
- Very good knowledge of English, German is a plus.
