We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Estimator/Project Manager to support our expansion and help deliver exceptional projects across Florida.


Position Overview


The Estimator/Project Manager will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, submitting competitive bids, and managing awarded projects from start to finish. This dual role requires strong analytical skills for estimating as well as leadership ability for project management. The successful candidate will help drive our growth in the U.S. market while upholding the same standards of excellence we have established over 25 years in Canada.


Key Responsibilities
Estimating
Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids.
Develop competitive proposals and assist in securing new business.
Maintain cost databases and track market pricing trends in Florida.
Project Management
Oversee daily project operations, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and Florida building codes.
Monitor progress, resolve issues, and provide regular updates to leadership.
Manage change orders, RFIs, and all project-related documentation.
Build and maintain strong client and partner relationships.


Qualifications
Bachelors degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred) OR equivalent work experience.
3+ years of experience in estimating and/or project management in construction.
Solid knowledge of U.S. construction methods, Florida codes, and OSHA standards.
Experience with estimating and project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Plan Swift, or similar).
Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Authorization to work in the U.S. and valid work documentation required.
