For our client, a global company based in Braunschweig, Germany, with offices in Vadodara, India, and Pristina, we are looking for an Network Administrator - German Speaking for their office in Prishtina, Kosovo. Job Summary:

The Network Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the company's entire network infrastructure. This includes using Meraki for network management, VMWare for virtualization environments and Veeam Backup for data backup and recovery. The Network Administrator ensures that the network operates safely, efficiently and reliably to ensure the smooth operation of the company.

Job Responsibilities:

Network management:

• Managing and maintaining the network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, WLAN and VPN.
• Monitoring network performance and ensuring availability and reliability.
• Installing, configuring and managing Meraki network hardware and software.

Virtualization management:

• Managing and optimizing VMWare virtualization environments.
• Ensuring the availability and performance of virtual machines and hosts.

Data backup and recovery:

• Implementing and managing Veeam Backup solutions.
• Performing regular backups and ensuring data integrity.
• Planning and executing recovery tests to ensure data availability.

Troubleshooting and support:

• Troubleshooting and resolving network issues.
• Assisting the IT department in resolving complex technical issues.
• Working with other IT teams to support projects and optimize network performance.

Security management and monitoring:

• Implementing and managing security measures to protect network integrity.
• Conducting regular security audits and assessments.
• Monitoring and responding to security incidents.
• Implementing and managing the monitoring landscape.

Documentation and reporting:

• Creating and maintaining network documentation and diagrams.
• Regularly reporting to the Head of Workplace Management on the status of the network infrastructure and ongoing projects.

Job Requirements:

• At least 3 years in Network Administration;
• Experience with maintaining the network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, WLAN and VPN;
• Experience with configuring and managing Meraki network hardware and software;
• Virtualization management and optimization;
• Great problem-solving skills;
• Great organizational and team collaboration skills;
• German Proficiency of B2/C1 language.
