For our client, LIDL, we are looking for an experienced HEAD OF REAL ESTATE, to join their growing team in Tirana/Prishtina.

Simplicity and process orientation determine everyday operations in the stores, regional distribution centers, and services. As a system provider, Lidl Stiftung, headquartered in Neckarsulm, is responsible for the design and structure of standardized processes.

Job duties & responsibilities:

  • Analysis of the real estate portfolio and derivation of priorities and implementation specifications;
  • Definition of measures to positively influence sales and earnings development;
  • Management and evaluation of ongoing projects with regard to the achievement of quantitative and qualitative targets;
  • Induction, internal training and further development of acquisition managers and real estate manager;
  • Preparation of the 3/5-year plan incl. a detailed planning;
  • Review of new property proposals from the Regional Centers and preparation of test reports;
  • Maintenance and further development of the state guidelines and processes for Topic Portfolio;
  • Collaboration with the interface areas in the implementation of state projects;
  • Establishing and maintaining contacts with external business partners;
  • Management of employees in accordance with the company, management and behavioral principles and promotion of targeted, professional and personal development of employees;
  • Creation of suitable framework conditions (organizational, personnel) to ensure that tasks are fulfilled and that goals are achieved on time and in an economically efficient manner.

Requirements for this position are:

  • At least Bachelor`s degree in economics, construction or similar;
  • Extensive experience in acquisition and negotiating rental contracts;
  • Experience in the real estate industry and in expansion or retail;
  • Fluent Albanian language skills and English language skills on B2 level, German Language advantageous;
  • Good knowlege of Microsoft Office;
  • Thoroughness and independence in work; distinct organizational skills;
  • Flexibility, motivation and a high sense of responsibility;
  • Driving license category B.
