Job Title: Legal Specialist

Reports to: Administrative Director

Summary: The Legal Specialist is responsible for managing all legal matters within the company,

ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and providing expert advice on various

legal issues. This position will play a critical role in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts,

handling intellectual property matters, and advising on employment law issues.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, vendors, and other

business partners, ensuring that they are legally sound and protect the company's interests.

2. Provide legal advice and guidance on various business matters, including compliance with

applicable laws and regulations, corporate governance, and risk management.

3. Manage the company's intellectual property portfolio, including advising on trademarks,

copyrights, and patents, and ensuring proper registration and protection of the company's

intellectual property assets.

4. Advise on employment law matters, assisting the HR Division with the development and

implementation of policies and procedures that comply with relevant laws and regulations.

5. Handle disputes and litigation matters, including managing correspondence with opposing

counsel, preparing for court hearings, and advising on potential settlement agreements.

6. Develop and maintain the company's legal documentation, ensuring that all records are

organized, up-to-date, and easily accessible.

7. Collaborate with other divisions within the Administrative Department and across the

company to ensure that legal considerations are incorporated into decision-making

processes.

8. Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations, and provide updates and

training to the company as needed.

9. Liaise with external legal counsel as needed for specialized advice or representation.

Qualifications:

1. Masters degree in Law.

2. A valid license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction is an advantage.

3. A minimum of 3-5 years of legal experience, preferably in a corporate or in-house setting.

4. Strong knowledge of corporate law, contracts, intellectual property, and employment law.

5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively

communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.

6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance legal risks against

business objectives.

7. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and

deadlines.

8. A team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues across the organization.
