On behalf of our client, The Headhunter Albania is searching for a motivated candidate to take the challenge and successfully fill the position of:

               SENIOR PROCUREMENT

Core tasks & responsibilities:

  • Liaises with key Unit staff to acquire the goods, works, and services.
  • Act and ensure to perform the works in compliance with Company procurement procedures and policy in place.
  • Managing and coordinating procurement specialists/juniors as well as working on the most complex purchases for the company.
  • Building strong working relationships both internally and with key suppliers.
  • Identifies and arrange market research to ascertain the best goods and new potential supplier to meet the best value, delivery schedules, and quality.
  • Manages supplier relationships and engages in post-award administration seeks quality goods/services and fair prices to meet Company needs.
  • Improve procurement strategies across all the channels of purchasing.
  • Attend meetings and negotiates complex purchase orders and contracts.
  • Arrange and attend Supplier briefing, review, and presentation meeting before awarding.
  • Manage material flow to ensure inventory is maintained to the optimum level to support on-time customer (business units) deliveries while keeping inventory holdings at the appropriate levels.
  • Perform cost analysis and set appropriate negotiation targets.
  • Maintain excellent reporting file, purchase file documentation standard format, and record retention consistent with Procurement Procedures and guidelines.
  • Approves purchase orders as per Delegation of Authority, if applicable.
  • Report regularly to management on procurement activities.
  • Performs certification process for all electronic machinery and other delivered in the territory of Albania as per the requirement of laws in force.
  • Perform any other assigned task by the supervisor.

What are we looking for in our Senior Procurement?

  • 3-5 years of purchasing/procurement experience in procurement in a local operating company.
  • Analytical Skills to work with multiple Supplier to determine the best deals for the Company, and have to evaluate the many pros and cons of each, based on price, quality, speed of delivery, and other factors
  • Decision-Making Skills: Procurement managers need to use the information gathered and make recommendations and decisions as per the approval authority
  • Negotiating Skills: Procurement managers will be working with suppliers to create the best deals.
  • Very strong in Supplier Management and very details market knowledge.
  • Have strong interpersonal communication by being excellent in verbal and listening communication as well as in relationships.
  • Have the courage to address difficult issues.
  • Be results-oriented.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both autonomously as well as part of a team.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of integrity.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • University degree in Business Administration or other disciplines.
  • Fluent English language (written and spoken) skills are required.
