Exciting Opportunity: Finance & Administrative Manager in Athens, Greece

Are you a seasoned finance and administrative professional ready to lead and optimize financial operations? We are seeking a Finance & Administrative Manager to oversee financial and administrative management in Athens, Greece. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance, strategic planning, and operational efficiency.

Position Highlights:

  • Finance Management: Oversee and streamline day-to-day financial activities, manage budget planning, handle financial documentation, and build strong relationships with banks.
  • Administrative Oversight: Implement and update company procedures, support health and safety compliance, provide comprehensive office administrative support, and manage employee records and HR processes.
  • Logistics Coordination: Handle procurement, oversee warehouse operations, and manage logistics including imports, exports, and inventory control.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Activities:
    • Lead and manage financial operations to ensure cost efficiency and accuracy.
    • Review and approve financial documents such as expense reports, invoices, and purchase orders to ensure compliance with company procedures and agreements.
    • Supervise cash management and reconcile petty cash.
    • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly reports and audit documentation.
  2. Client and Authority Relations:
    • Act as the company's representative during audits and inspections by tax authorities and state labor inspectorates.
    • Manage relationships with external parties, including clients and third-party vendors, ensuring adherence to contractual terms and conditions.
    • Oversee client contracts, monitor payment terms, and coordinate with sales and operations to manage receivables and prevent overdue debts.
  3. Administrative Management:
    • Ensure company procedures are current, translated as needed, and accessible to employees.
    • Support the implementation of health and safety regulations in line with local and company standards.
    • Provide administrative support, including document management, employee file maintenance, and office operations.
  4. Logistics Management:
    • Oversee procurement processes in line with budget plans and company procedures.
    • Manage warehouse and logistics operations, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and product distribution.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, and cash flow management.
    • At least 3 years of direct supervisory experience in financial and administrative roles.
    • Proven experience in the FMCG or Beverage industry is highly preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in financial software applications and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
    • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
    • Demonstrated capability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Competencies:
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Effective problem-solving abilities and proactive approach to managing financial and administrative challenges.
