BACKGROUND

The Art Explora Festival will take place in Durrës, Albania, from April 10 to 21, 2025. The goal is to ensure smooth visitor reception and optimal management of visitor flows throughout the event. The welcoming team will be involved during various time slots according to the events opening hours.

PURPOSE OF JOB

Our Visitor Welcome team are the face of Art Explora Festival. The team is responsible for positively and warmly welcoming all visitors, clients, guests and colleagues; exceeding expectations to providing exceptional levels of customer service. The Team will work across a range of positions delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming and safe environment that meets the needs of a wide range of visitors and staff. The Welcome team will be a positive, helpful and friendly first point of contact responsible for providing knowledgeable and efficient information and service to the customers.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Create a positive, warm welcome for all visitors.
  2. To seek opportunities for active engagement with visitors to enhance theirenjoyment, appreciation and understanding of Art Explora Festival;
  3. Take pride in the Globes appearance, seeing everything through the eyes of the visitor and question anything that would not meet a visitors expectations.
  4. Ensure that the visitor areas are clean and well presented at all times, reporting faults to the Team Lead as appropriate;
  5. Be able to respond quickly and efficiently to all the organizational issues that may be faced;
  6. Work as part of a large European Visitor Experience team, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues to succeed;
  7. Ensure the smooth running of the Tour and Interpretation programms by liaising with the guides and Team Leader regularly.
  8. Regularly monitor the space inside the Festival Stage and to direct tours when necessary as advised by a Visitor Welcome Team Leader;
  9. Provide a reception service for all Vizitors of Art Explora at the main Stage Door and other access points across the site, including also the Durres City main areas;

PRACTICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • This role requires the post holder to work on a rotation, which may include evenings and weekends, including any Bank Holiday during the period the Art;
  • Explora Festival takes place;
  • The role requires the post holder to work mornings and some days late nights and includes outdoor and well-organized working;
  • Attend daily briefing sessions on time and ready to start;
  • Attend training sessions as required.
  • Ensure own punctuality, attendance and personal appearance meets the Art Explora Festivals standards, including wearing an identifying outfit.
  • Be flexible and adaptable in the undertaking of any other related duties.
