For our client, well established international group, we are looking for: 

DEPUTY CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER 

The Deputy Chief Financial Officer (Deputy CFO) supports the CFO in leading and managing the company's financial strategy, operations and infrastructure. Working closely with the CFO, the Deputy CFO ensures financial integrity, risk management, operational efficiency and strategic alignment of all financial and related support functions. The role acts as a key advisor to the CFO and is responsible for driving performance and compliance through the leadership of department heads.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the CFO in developing and implementing financial strategy and long-term financial planning;
  • Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of all financial reporting in line with regulatory and internal requirements;
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement;
  • Ensure effective cash flow management;
  • Oversee the development and enforcement of financial controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate standards;
    Support internal and external audit processes and follow up on implementation of audit recommendations;
  • Oversee procurement governance and strategy to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with business needs;
  • Promote responsible sourcing practices and compliance with procurement policies;
  • Support the alignment of IT systems with business needs, ensuring secure, scalable, and cost- effective infrastructure;
  • Oversee digital transformation initiatives and data integrity across financial and operational systems;
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives in financial reporting, audit readiness, and systems integration;
  • Coach, develop, and empower department heads to build strong and effective teams;
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration and alignment to drive business performance and innovation;
  • Act as deputy to the CFO, representing the Finance function internally and externally as required;
  • Promote a culture of accountability, performance excellence, and continuous improvement.

REQURED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or relevant postgraduate degree is a plus;
  • Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA or CFA are considered as an advantage;
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in financial management roles, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership position;
  • Experience in managing multi-functional teams;
  • Strong knowledge of financial and accounting principles, IFRS, tax laws;
    Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and analysis;
  • Understanding of procurement frameworks and vendor management;
  • Familiarity with IT systems, infrastructure, and digital finance tools;
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP system would be considered as advantage;
