On behalf of our client, the global leader with many years of experience in international trade of Food and Beverage, we are looking for a Key Account Representative in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Key Account Representative | FMCG Industry

Position Purpose:

The Key Account Representative (K/A Rep) plays a vital role as a link between our client and their customers, ensuring exceptional customer service and contributing to revenue growth. This role demands a thorough understanding of market dynamics and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Targets:

  • Achieve sales volume targets as per the plan in your designated territory/route.
  • Product Presence & Visibility:
  • Ensure product presence and visibility in key accounts (K/As) according to KPIs.
  • Maintain constant visibility of products as per agreements with K/As.
  • Stock Management & Quality Control:
  • Efficiently manage stock and out-of-stock (OOS) situations within permitted limits.
  • Maintain product quality and prevent stock expiry through effective stock rotation and stocking techniques.

POSM & Activities:

Implement the placement of Point of Sale Materials (POSM) and promotional programs according to merchandising standards.

Market Development:

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of your area and K/A outlets.
  • Monitor market developments and inform your line manager of any changes.
  • Consumer Prices:
  • Monitor and report consumer prices in your area to the line manager.

Client Relationships:

Establish and maintain close, efficient relationships with clients through regular visits and high-quality service delivery in accordance with the company's internal regulations and code of conduct.

Company Assets:

Properly maintain and administer all company assets used to perform your job.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong conversational and negotiation skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Requirements:

  • Preferably a Bachelors degree in business, marketing, economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in FMCG sales
  • In-depth understanding of the sales process and market dynamics
  • Commitment to delivering excellent customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
