Reports to: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) or Group Finance Director / CEO

Position Overview:

The Finance Manager Export Markets is responsible for overseeing the financial operations and strategy for Company's export markets across all regions, including but not limited to Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Slovenia, and Croatia. The role focuses on ensuring financial compliance, supporting strategic decision-making, optimizing financial performance, and managing risks related to export activities. This position plays a key role in financial reporting, budgeting, and working with both regional and group management to drive growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis:

• Lead the financial planning and analysis processes for export markets, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Provide insightful analysis of financial data and trends to support business decisions for the export regions.
• Develop and maintain key financial metrics and performance indicators relevant to the
• export markets.

• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for each export region.
• Ensure all reporting meets internal company requirements as well as external regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with regional and group finance teams to streamline financial reporting processes.

Cost Management & Profitability:

• Analyse cost structures, ensuring profitability across the export regions.
• Work with local management teams to optimize operational costs and improve profit margins.
• Monitor pricing strategies and currency risks in export markets.

Compliance & Risk Management:

• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, transfer pricing policies, and other financial regulations across all regions.
• Manage financial risks in export markets, including foreign exchange, credit risks, and regulatory risks.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, including internal controls and audit requirements.

Cash Flow & Working Capital Management:

• Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity in all export markets.
• Optimise working capital by managing accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.

Business Partnering:

• Work closely with export market managers, regional heads, and senior leadership to support business expansion and growth strategies.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support commercial decision-making in export markets.
• Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to support product launches and market entry strategies.

Team Leadership & Development:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals across the export markets.
• Provide training and development opportunities for the finance team to build capabilities and foster career growth.

Systems & Processes:

• Support the implementation and enhancement of ERP systems and other financial management tools.
• Continuously improve financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy in export markets.
