On behalf of our client, the global leader with many years of experience in international trade of Food and Beverage, we are looking for a Brand Marketing Executive (BME) in Belgrade, Serbia.

Position is for a 1-year contract as replacement for Maternity leave.

We are seeking for our client a dynamic Marketing and Trade Marketing Executive to lead the implementation of our brand marketing strategy in the field. This role involves driving trade marketing planning and execution to achieve volume, revenue, and distribution goals. You will be responsible for collecting and analysing market data, developing and executing programs in line with brand strategies to enhance brand awareness and image, and organizing, implementing, and evaluating marketing activities. Key tasks include product launches, loyalty programs, and managing the placement of products and POSMs (Point of Sales Materials).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Implementation: Support the trade marketing strategy and planning process to implement brand strategies in respective markets, ensuring plans are agreed upon with brands and sales and approved by line managers.
  • Activity and Program Management: Create and execute trade marketing activities and programs based on brand strategies, ensuring clear communication and understanding among all involved parties.
  • Reporting: Prepare monthly reports on market trends, channel development, and program evaluations, ensuring timely delivery and comprehensive analysis.
  • Activity Follow-Up: Ensure approved activities are executed as planned, including presence in leaflets, internal actions, and secondary positions.
  • Data Analysis: Provide trade data and analysis as needed, including monthly reports and ad-hoc requests.
  • Promotion Material Management: Oversee the ordering, placement, and analysis of promotional materials, ensuring effective investment tracking.
  • Support Sales Decisions: Assist in decisions regarding additional discounts and make sales analyses as requested.
  • System Updates: Support and update stock adjustments and price lists in the system.
  • Import Assistance: Facilitate the import process by handling certificates of analyses and adding new items to government databases.
  • Asset Inventory: Track assets like coolers, umbrellas, and coffee machines placed in the market.
  • Labelling: Prepare local language labels for all products requiring them.
  • Supplier Coordination: Find suppliers, manage the design, production, and placement of POSM materials, prepare planograms, and ensure contract signing with POSs. Keep track of POSM inventories in trade and warehouse.

Basic Requirements:

  • University degree in Economics, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, distribution, or marketing.
  • Fluent in English; proficient in MS Office.
  • Proven skills in team management, leadership, and building teamwork.
  • Strong business acumen and a commitment to quality.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Results-driven with a focus on execution excellence.
  • Strong analytical abilities.
