For our client, one of the main players in insurance market in Prishtina, Kosovo, we are looking for a Finance Manager. Our client offers the following insurance products: third-party liability insurance for vehicles, comprehensive car insurance (kasko) and partial car insurance, insurance for properties against fire, water, and other possible damages, business insurance, and personal accident insurance.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

University degree in economics, finance, accounting, business administration, financial mathematics, or related field.

Preferably 3-5 years of work experience in the financial industry, auditing, accounting, or similar fields:

• Certified accountant or certified auditor (ACCA, SCAAK);
• Ability to manage a team and time effectively;
• Excellent communication and coordination skills;
• Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel;
• Knowledge of English language preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparing, coordinating, and reporting on reports according to the deadlines of the Central Bank of Kosovo;
• Responsible for preparing, coordinating, and reporting monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual reports for company oversight structures;
• Responsible for tax control and reporting at the Tax Administration of Kosovo;
• Assists and supports in preparing internal financial and operational reports;
• Proposes, prepares, and creates necessary reports to aid decision-making;
• Initiates necessary developments in IT systems for report and process improvement and automation;
• Proposes, implements, and monitors necessary data improvements;
• Participates in preparing policies, procedures, and other regulatory acts within the department;
• Monitors and implements applicable legal provisions in Kosovo and international financial reporting standards (IFRS);
• Participates in implementing recommendations from internal and external auditors related to the finance and accounting department;
• Performs other duties within the department and company as directed by the Director of Finance and Accounting Department and those in the hierarchy.
