For our client, a fast-growing, world-renowned IT company from Montenegro we are looking for:

                                    Senior Backend Developer (M/F)

About your position:

• Senior backend developer role in development team;
• Develop and maintain a solid understanding of the technology tools and trends and remain current in new technology developments and their potential impact on the department;
• Mentor other team members through pair programming, code reviews, and ad-hoc assistance;
• Collaborate with software engineers across the department to identify and build on improvements to our processes and systems, whilst having involvement in technical decision making.

Job requirements:

• Hands-on experience with backend technologies (preferably Python/Django/FastAPI or comparable technology);
• Good understanding of relational databases and structures;
• Experience with MySQL, Postgres or equivalent;
• Proven ability to work independently as well as with other team members;
• Using best coding practices and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelors, Specialists or Masters Degree in Computer Science or a technology-related field;
• 5+ years of web development experience including analysis, technical design, coding, and testing;
• Hands-on experience with backend technologies (preferably Python/Django/FastAPI or comparable);
• Good understanding of relational databases and structures;
• Experience with MySQL, Postgres or equivalent;
• Experience with AWS cloud is a plus;
• Knowledge of containerization tools (e.g. Docker);
• Proficiency in using version control systems, preferably Git;
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines;
• Experience in designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs;
• Familiarity with authentication and authorization protocols (e.g., OAuth, JWT);
• Proven ability to work independently as well as with other team members;
• Using best coding practices and standards;
