For our client, well established international group, we are looking for: 

PROCUREMENT SUPERVISOR 

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Organization, coordination and monitoring of the work of the employees in the department
  • Develops and executes procurement strategies for operational and project-related purchases.
  • Organizes tenders, prepares RFQs, contracts and aligns the whole procurement process across the involved organizational units of the company
  • Sources and procures equipment, spare parts, maintenance services, and construction
    materials.
  • Manages procurement for renewable energy projects, including solar panel components, inverters, and balance-of-plant materials.
  • Identifies, qualifies, and maintains relationships with key suppliers and service providers.
  • Negotiates pricing, contracts, and service agreements to optimize costs and terms.
  • Monitors supplier performance, ensuring quality, timely delivery, and compliance with
    contracts.
  • Leads the procedure for resolving official complaints for delivered goods or realized services;
  • Ensures procurement activities comply with internal policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Collaborates with operations, engineering, and finance teams to align procurement with
    business needs.
  • Maintains procurement records and reporting for audits and financial tracking.
  • Analyses procurement spending and identifies cost-saving opportunities.
  • Assists in budget preparation for operational and capital expenditures and creates procurement plans and follows-up on their execution.
  • Implements process improvements for efficiency and transparency in procurement operations
  • Coordinates / Administers the Purchase Requisition & Purchase Order Approval Process in the SAP System
  • Supervises the warehouse activities and the administration of the Materials management process in the SAP System
  • Performance of other tasks in the field of qualification.

REQURED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or other similar Technical faculties), Economy;
    • 5-10 years of relevant procurement experience in industrial operations, energy, or infrastructure projects;
    • Knowledge of the Customs Law and other relevant laws and regulations
    • Knowledge of INCOTERMS rules for international trade;
    • Knowledge of technical processes, terms, materials and relevant standards;
    • Knowledge of supplier evaluation processes
    • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point);
    • Excellent knowledge of Business English;
    • Previous work experience with SAP Information System will be considered an advantage
