Our client, a leading player in the hospitality industry, known for their commitment to excellence and exceptional guest, is looking for a Procurement/Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement activities in Pristina, Kosovo.

This role involves sourcing quality supplies, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in hospitality, and strong negotiation skills. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all procurement activities for food, beverage, equipment, and hospitality supplies across multiple outlets or properties.
  • Source high-quality ingredients, products, and services from approved vendors, while identifying opportunities for new partnerships.
  • Manage supplier relationships, including negotiating contracts, pricing, delivery terms, and quality expectations.
  • Collaborate with Executive Chefs, F&B Directors, and Operations to forecast needs and avoid stockouts or overordering.
  • Ensure all purchases meet food safety standards, brand guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor inventory levels and implement efficient inventory control systems to reduce waste and optimize cash flow.
  • Analyze market trends and vendor performance to improve purchasing strategies and reduce costs.
  • Work closely with the finance team to manage budgets, reconcile invoices, and track cost-saving initiatives.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of suppliers, contracts, pricing, and lead times.
  • Support sustainability initiatives through mindful sourcing and waste reduction practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; a Masters degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a senior procurement role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of procurement strategies, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with procurement or inventory management systems is required.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
