For our client, well established international group, we are looking for: 

CATEGORY OFFICER- Food and Coffee

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Organizes the food category portfolio at EKO Mini Markets and coffee business in accordance with business plan and strategy of the company and with the best category management practice;
  • Participates in the annual plan creation for the food portfolio and coffee offer and develops plans for implementation;
  • Ensures the achievement of the objectives of the Company in terms of the food category and coffee business;
  • Monitors coffee concept implementation and participates in tailor made adjustments needed on network;
  • Proposes adequate report dashboards for the category movement monitoring;
  • Uses available tools (eg. market reports, planograms software) for planning the process of facts based negotiations;
  • Contributes in setting and achieving targets for the NFR marketing income for the relevant portfolio;
  • Coordinates with the marketing department and suppliers in regards to marketing communication of agreed promotions on POS materials;
  • Preparing food category and café offer activities annual plan;
  • Develops and maintains contact with suppliers of non-food products in the local market and negotiates the supply of their goods at the best possible conditions as per agreed assortment and placement strategies;
  • Negotiates goods delivery at optimum conditions and evaluates the quality of suppliers services;
  • Studies price movements and market conditions;
  • Proposes optimum pricing strategy of the food product portfolio and the coffee shop assortment;
  • Coordinates with suppliers the delivery of goods to gas stations and evaluates the quality of their
  • services;
  • Takes care of the implementation of Company policies and local legislation related to the area of responsibility;
  • Performs other tasks in the field of professional qualification given by the superior.

REQURED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum University degree (7.1 or 6.2. NQFS level) of Economics, Business, Technical or similar background and/or;
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience;
  • English Language;
  • MS Office skills.
