We are seeking a highly motivated Presales Engineer with expertise in CCTV and security systems to support our sales team in delivering tailored solutions to clients. This role bridges technical knowledge and customer needs, ensuring proposed solutions are both feasible and effective.
Solution Crafting & Delivery
- Dive deep into customer business issues to design customized solutions using our product range.
- Create and deliver engaging presentations, demos, and proposals that clearly showcase solution value.
- Lead proof-of-concept projects to prove solution effectiveness and address customer doubts.
Product Management Support
- Work hand-in-hand with the product team to grasp product features and future plans.
- Feed market and customer insights back to the product team to drive product improvements.
Technical Guidance
- Be the go-to tech contact for customers during pre-sales, answering queries and offering advice.
- Evaluate customer environments to ensure solution compatibility and smooth integration.
- Collaborate with R&D and engineering to solve complex tech problems and find quick fixes.
Market & Business Growth
- Research the market to spot new business chances, customer groups, and trends.
- Analyze competitor moves and devise strategies to make our solutions stand out.
- Attend industry events to promote our brand, network, and find potential clients.
Team Collaboration
- Partner with the sales team to devise sales tactics, understand customer needs, and close deals.
- Coordinate with internal teams (R&D, engineering, etc.) for seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Education & Experience
- Bachelor's in Engineering, CS, IT, or related field. Master's preferred.
- 3+ years in pre-sales, solution engineering, or product management in security/surveillance or tech.
Technical Skills
- In-depth knowledge of video surveillance tech (cameras, recorders, software, analytics).
- Familiarity with network tech (TCP/IP, routing, switching). Cloud and big data knowledge is a plus.
- Proficient in solution design, presentation, and documentation tools (MS Office, Visio).
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication; can explain complex tech to non-tech audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for innovative solutions.
- Great interpersonal skills to build strong customer and team relationships.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Superb time management to handle multiple projects under pressure.
Language
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
