Our client, a leader in textile and lighting systems, is looking for a Production Manager for Kosovo.
The Production Manager is responsible for leading, organizing, and optimizing manufacturing operations within the facility. This role requires a highly structured individual with proven experience in production management and industrialization processes, ensuring operational efficiency, high quality standards, and achievement of business objectives.
Responsibilities
- To lead and supervise production employees, ensuring effective team performance, clear communication, and alignment with operational objectives.
- To manage and organize work schedules across 3 production shifts.
- To manage the implementation and industrialization of serial projects at the plant level, ensuring a smooth transition from development to full-scale production.
- To coordinate the transfer of products and production equipment from development sites to serial production sites, ensuring readiness and efficiency.
- To act as the main point of contact between production specialists, process engineers, quality teams, and shop floor teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
- To plan and manage serial production activities, ensuring achievement of quality, cost, and delivery targets.
- To take responsibility for the timely creation, maintenance, and accuracy of Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (P-FMEA) documentation.
- To monitor and recalculate production costs, identifying opportunities for optimization and continuous process improvement.
- To coordinate and support the installation and commissioning of machinery and systems in collaboration with production management and external service providers.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar Production Manager or Manufacturing leadership role.
- Proven experience in industrialization and serial production environments.
- Strong understanding of production processes, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with P-FMEA and production documentation standards.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured and organized manner.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong communication and coordination skills across cross-functional teams.
- Experience working with machinery installation and production system implementation is an advantage.
