CONTEXT
The Indirect Purchaser Manager ensures the efficient procurement of all non‐resale goods and services essential to store operations, logistics, warehousing, and corporate functions.The role supports cost efficiency, optimized supplier contracts, compliance, and continuous operational improvement, enabling the company to deliver high service standards and operational excellence.
OVERALL ROLE
The Indirect Purchaser Manager oversees the sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and management of all indirect
procurement categories.The role ensures competitive pricing, supplier quality, contract compliance, and timely availability of services while improving procurement processes and supporting all business units with purchasing needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES BY ACTIVITY
Procurement Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement the indirect procurement strategy aligned with company objectives.
- Analyze spending categories, build procurement plans, and identify cost‐saving opportunities.
- Prepare annual budget forecasts and long-term supplier roadmaps.
Supplier Management
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for indirect categories.
- Conduct supplier performance reviews and maintain a compliant supplier database.
- Build long‐term partnerships that support pricing efficiency and service quality.
Tendering & Contracting
- Lead RFQ/RFP processes and competitive tenders ensuring transparency.
- Negotiate commercial terms, SLAs, and contract conditions.
- Collaborate with Finance and Legal teams to ensure contract compliance and approvals.
- Operational Procurement Execution
- Process purchase requests and orders, ensuring adherence to procurement policies.
- Track deliveries, resolve delays, quality issues, or invoice discrepancies.
- Ensure continuous availability of mission‐critical goods and services.
Cost Optimization & Reporting
- Monitor expenses and propose cost‐reduction initiatives without compromising quality.
- Prepare procurement reports, KPIs, dashboards, and savings analysis.
- Support audits by maintaining complete and accurate procurement documentation.
Compliance & Process Improvement
- Ensure all procurement activities follow internal controls and company policies.
- Improve workflows, implement automation tools, and enhance document management.
Train internal teams on procurement procedures and best practices.

PROFILE
Work experience:
- 3–5 years in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain.
- Proven experience managing supplier categories and contract negotiation.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Technical skills:
-Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
-Good understanding of procurement processes and ERP systems.
-Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross‐functionally.
