Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and organized Entry-Level Project Manager to join our team in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will manage multiple projects from initiation through closure, ensuring objectives are met on time and within budget. You will utilize both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, leverage project management software, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of experience, high proficiency in spoken and written English, and strong PowerPoint skills. Previous experience working on technical projects is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Initiation & Planning

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Assist in developing detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
  • Gather and document requirements to ensure alignment with business objectives.

2. Project Execution & Monitoring

  • Coordinate tasks and activities across multiple teams, maintaining clear communication and accountability.
  • Track project progress, manage risks, and escalate issues to leadership as necessary.
  • Use project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project) to document progress and update project artifacts.

3. Methodology Adherence

  • Apply both Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall methodologies as appropriate.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) when relevant.
  • Ensure documentation and reporting comply with organizational standards and best practices.

4. Communication & Reporting

  • Demonstrate high proficiency in spoken and written English, providing regular status updates to team members, stakeholders, and senior leadership.
  • Write comprehensive status reports and presentations for leadership review.
  • Lead and coordinate project meetings, ensuring action items are captured and addressed promptly.

5. Presentation to Senior Leadership

  • Prepare and deliver concise, polished presentations on project status, risks, and milestones using PowerPoint.
  • Communicate effectively with senior executives and other high-level stakeholders.

6. Project Closure & Evaluation

  • Conduct project closeout activities, including lessons learned and final documentation.
  • Ensure smooth handover of project deliverables to operational teams.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 1-3 years of project management or coordination experience, preferably in technical environments.
  • Language Skills: High proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management approaches.
  • Software Tools: Experience using project management software (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project).
  • MS Office Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint.
  • Multi-Project Handling: Proven ability to manage multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent time management, detail orientation, and prioritization abilities.
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills, comfortable presenting to senior leadership.
  • Reporting Skills: Ability to write comprehensive, clear, and concise status reports.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in business, information technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Certifications (Optional): PMP, CAPM, or similar certifications are advantageous but not required.
