COMPANY DESCRIPTION:

Our client within the agriculture and mining sector is looking for a Security Technician to join their team as soon as possible.

JOB DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Installing, maintaining, configuring and repairing security systems, such as alarm systems (AJAX and DSC), CCTV, and access control (Hikvision).
• Troubleshoot system malfunctions
• Perform routine testing

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Matric
• Relevant tertiary qualifications will be highly advantageous

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Minimum 3 years experience in a technical position within the security industry
• Advanced knowledge on AJAX, DSC and Hikvision systems
• Valid driver's license
