COMPANY DESCRIPTION:

Our client is a leading distributor of office stationery, printing consumables, canteen, cleaning, PPE and general office supplies. They are looking for a Stock Checker to join their team on a Fixed Term Contract basis.

JOB DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform regular stock counts and checks
• Verify stock received and dispatched
• Record and update stock levels on the system
• Identify and report stock discrepancies
• Ensure stock is correctly stored and labelled
• Assist with stock takes

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12
• Relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Minimum of 3+ years experience in a stock control, stock checking, or inventory role
• Basic knowledge of stock control systems and inventory processes
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and able to work in a warehouse environment
