COMPANY DESCRIPTION:
Our client is an electronic communications manufacturer and supplier based in Edenvale and they are looking for a driven and confident Telesales / Lead Generator to join their team as soon as possible.
JOB DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:
The Telesales / Lead Generator will be responsible for contacting prospective and existing clients, generating qualified leads, setting appointments for the sales team, and conducting follow-ups to maximise sales opportunities.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct daily outbound cold calls to prospective clients
- Identify decision-makers and sales opportunities
- Introducing company products and services
- Perform structured follow-ups on leads and conversations
- Re-engage lost, inactive, or dormant clients
- Qualify opportunities before scheduling appointments
- Secure appointments for Sales Executives
- Maintain accurate CRM updates and call notes
- Meet daily and weekly activity targets
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Previous experience in telesales / call centre / lead generation preferred
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- Target-driven and self-motivated
- Ability to handle objections effectively
- Basic computer literacy (CRM experience advantageous)
