Our client is one of the leading wholesale suppliers of promotional gifts and clothing and they are looking for an energetic and customer-focused Sales Administrator / Junior Showroom Assistant to join their fast-paced sales department.

JOB DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to build a career in Sales Administration / Telesales / Data Capturing. The ideal candidate will assist with order capturing, tracking order progress and customer support from start to finish. Training will be provided.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receiving, processing, and tracking sales orders, verifying details, and ensuring timely fulfillment.
  • Answering customer inquiries, addressing concerns, and providing after-sales support.
  • Maintaining and updating customer records, sales databases, etc.
  • Providing administrative assistance to the sales team
  • Greeting customers
  • Assist walk-in customers
  • Answer customers' questions about specific products/services
  • Customer service
  • Cross-selling products
  • Determine the customer's needs and wants
  • Processing sales and conducting payment transactions
  • Product knowledge

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12 / Matric

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Previous Corporate and Promotional Sales or Call Centre experience (advantageous)
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent attention to details
  • Computer literate with good typing speed
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel – and Power Point
  • Able to multi-task and meet client deadlines
  • Must have own or reliable transport
  • A clear criminal record is required
