COMPANY DESCRIPTION:
Our client is a leading distributor of hardware to the Architectural Aluminium industry in South Africa and they are looking for a passionate, hardworking, self-motivated individual with a proven track record in sales and customer support.
JOB DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:
Their Internal Sales Representatives are experts in their field with extensive product knowledge and technical ability. They are solution providers, and active sales agents.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide technical sales support and product advice to customers
- Prepare accurate quotations, tenders, and costings based on BOQs
- Process sales orders and manage export documentation
- Actively identify sales opportunities and upsell suitable solutions
- Liaise with customers to ensure timely delivery and after-sales support
- Maintain accurate sales records and customer information on ASAMCO
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric certificate with English and Mathematics as subjects
- Relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- 5 years sales experience
- 2 years Industry specific sales experience (Aluminum hardware sales)
- Computer literate (Microsoft office)
- Experience in export documentation
- ASAMCO experience
- Experience in tender estimation and costings on BOQs
- Experience in the sealant and adhesive industry
