Our client is one of South Africa's largest paper and packaging companies and they are looking for a Senior Sales Executive to join their team in Cape Town.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position will be responsible for growing the sales footprint in the Cape Region through customer relationships and sales. The incumbent will also provide assistance to the telesales division in terms of sourcing leads and giving them through to the Telesales Agents.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Increase sales numbers in the Cape Region

Maintain and build customer relationships with existing and new clients

Daily CRM sales reporting

Weekly reporting on sales numbers to HO

Set and achieve monthly sales targets

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12
  • Sales / Marketing related tertiary qualification (added advantage)

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Must have at least 2 - 3 years solid experience within a sales and marketing environment
  • Have thorough knowledge of sales techniques
  • Have considerable experience with customer relationship management
  • Must have own reliable transport
  • Professional and Sales / Target driven
  • Must be able to deal with conflict and work under pressure
  • Manage relations with sales department
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer literate
