Our client is a fully integrated red meat value chain and they are looking for a Sales Representative to join their team as soon as possible.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
To ensure that existing customers and accounts are serviced, and key customer reporting is provided to the sales team, contributing to the successful achievement of the Sales and Marketing goals.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Revenue
- Servicing existing customers and accounts to deliver a world class service.
- Identify opportunities and drive NPD and new stores to grow volume and market share.
- Closing deals.
- Maximize the value of each sale by upselling or cross-selling additional products.
- Revenue generated by selling products to the customers.
- New and speedy customer sign on.
Key Customer Reporting
- Volume plans and reporting are updated daily and weekly.
- Feedback and follow-up on queries and complaints.
- Client visitation weekly.
Stakeholder Relations and Networking
- Initiate and sustain key relation networks which build on the good reputation and image of the company and secures future growth and profitability.
- Establish and maintain good trust relations with all stakeholders.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- 2 - 5 Years sales experience in FMCG environment
FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES:
- Driver's License + own reliable vehicle
- Computer Literate
- Interpersonal Relationships
- Teamwork
- Understanding of the meat business
