Our client is one of the leading wholesale suppliers of promotional gifts and clothing and they are looking for a detail-orientated Web Administrator & Marketing Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, functionality, and marketing readiness of our website, while supporting the marketing department with campaign execution and client data management.

The ideal candidate is organised, proactive, and tech-savvy, with a strong eye for detail and the ability to manage both website administration and marketing support tasks effectively.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Website Administration

  • Manage and maintain the company website on a daily basis.
  • Create, reset, and manage client login details, including troubleshooting API integration issues.
  • Upload and maintain new products in the database, ensuring accuracy of:
    • Branding codes
    • Product images
    • Sizes & dimensions
    • Specifications and material details (based on procurement input)
    • Product descriptions and website stories
  • Liaise closely with the procurement department to verify product data and ensure accurate stock movement is reflected on the website.
  • Upload website banners, buttons, and campaign graphics in line with marketing activities.
  • Perform regular website audits, checking links, product displays, and overall site performance.

Marketing Support

  • Update new client registrations in the marketing database.
  • Support the marketing team with the implementation of campaigns by managing website content.
  • Assist in ensuring consistent brand presentation across the website and digital platforms.
  • Provide general administrative support to the marketing team as required.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Matric
  • Degree in Marketing or a related field

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Proven experience in website administration, digital content management, or e-commerce.
  • Proficiency with content management systems (CMS) and basic understanding of APIs.
  • Strong computer literacy, including Excel and database management.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing basics (campaigns, online branding, banners, product promotion).
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.

ADVANTAGEOUS (NOT ESSENTIAL):

  • Experience with e-commerce platforms in the promotional products industry.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop).
  • Previous exposure to B2B marketing or product database management.
