COMPANY DESCRIPTION:

Our client, an upmarket hotel and conference center in Pretoria is looking for a talented and creative Mid-Level Graphic Designer to join their dynamic team.

JOB DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:

This role involves designing visually appealing marketing materials across various platforms, including print, digital, and social media. The ideal candidate should have a strong portfolio demonstrating innovative designs, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and produce marketing collateral such as brochures, banners, social media graphics, email templates, and event materials.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualise and execute creative campaigns.
• Ensure brand consistency across all design elements.
• Work on product packaging, corporate branding, and promotional items for various departments within the estate. Develop and manage visual content for websites, newsletters, and other online platforms.
• Keep up to date with the latest design trends and tools.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12
• Relevant tertiary qualification will be highly advantageous

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• A minimum of 3-5 years experience in Graphic Design
• Experience with both digital and print design.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Experience with Canva
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms is an advantage
• Knowledge of video editing software (Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro) is advantageous
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and design across multiple formats.
• Excellent understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to take creative direction and feedback positively. Passionate about design and eager to bring fresh ideas to the team.
