Vendor Managed Inventory Coordinator I

An established industrial supply distributor is hiring a Vendor Managed Inventory Coordinator in Duluth. You will keep customer point-of-use inventory stocked, counted and replenished on schedule. This contract suits an organized, self-directed person who likes being on the move.

• Contract assignment, 6 months with possible extension
• Work setting: onsite
• Openings: 1
• Anticipated start: within the next two to three weeks

• Visit customer stocking locations on a set schedule
• Scan bins and count inventory to trigger replenishment
• Restock, label and organize customer storage areas
• Enter orders and adjustments in the inventory system
• Flag shortages, slow movers and usage changes
• Communicate with customers about stock needs

• 1 or more years of inventory, warehouse or stocking experience
• Comfortable with handheld scanners and basic computer work
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders
• Valid driver license and reliable transportation
• Strong organization and attention to detail

• Vendor managed inventory or MRO supply experience
• Experience with ERP systems
• Customer-facing service experience
• Prior work in a fast-paced distribution or industrial setting
• Willingness to cross-train in receiving, shipping and inventory
• Strong record of attendance and safe work habits

• Clean, organized warehouse or storeroom setting
• Safety-first culture with required PPE provided onsite
