We are seeking two growth-minded Swing Shift Production Supervisors to drive operational excellence in our San Leandro plant. This is a central leadership role designed for a "boots-on-the-ground" professional who excels at coaching diverse teams, hitting aggressive KPIs, and maintaining world-class food safety standards.

Your Impact & Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead shift-start meetings, conduct floor walk-throughs, and provide real-time coaching to hourly associates to ensure peak performance and professional development.
- Operational Oversight: Manage daily production activities, monitor line efficiency, and partner with Maintenance and QA to rapidly resolve equipment or process bottlenecks.
- Quality & Safety First: Champion a culture of safety by leading incident investigations and ensuring 100% compliance with GMP, HACCP, and strict sanitation protocols.
- Continuous Improvement: Support the execution of plant-wide improvement projects (WIGs) and use Lean methodologies to eliminate variances in production metrics.
- Administrative Excellence: Manage shift handoffs, ensure accurate reporting, and maintain SOX compliance documentation to provide a seamless transition between production cycles.
Must Haves / Requirements Summary
- Experience: 4+ years of supervisory experience specifically within a food manufacturing environment.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Lean Expertise: At least 1 year of hands-on experience applying Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Labor Relations: Proven ability to effectively lead and direct a diverse, unionized workforce.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep familiarity with GMP, HACCP, and industrial safety programs.
- Communication: Superior verbal and written communication skills for reporting and team briefings.
- Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24-hour facility with varying temperatures (including cold storage areas) and strict hygiene requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Dairy processing.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong history of mentoring and developing hourly workers.
