Location: Sacramento, CA area (worksite in Roseville and Folsom, CA)
Shift/Schedule: Full-time, onsite, various schedules including days, evenings, and weekends
Pay/Compensation: $175,200 – $264,800 per year

These clinicians evaluate and treat a broad range of acute illnesses and injuries as part of a physician-led team. Core Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute illnesses and injuries
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies
- Perform procedures such as laceration repair, splinting, and incision and drainage
- Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications within scope of practice
- Coordinate with physicians and specialists for escalation and admissions
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and follow-up care
- Document visits accurately and promptly in the electronic health record
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current NCCPA certification
- Active California Physician Assistant license, or eligibility before start
- Current DEA registration, BLS, and ACLS certifications
- Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or acute care
- Flexibility to work rotating schedules including weekends
- Several years of emergency department experience
- PALS certification
- Experience with procedural skills in a high-volume setting
- Epic electronic health record experience
- Experience within a large integrated health system
- Pay: $175,200 – $264,800 per year
